This Jamaica Blue Mountain® green coffee of Dilla Alghe varietal is one of a kind, hitting over 90+ points. This varietal comes from a wild Ethiopian coffee found close to the Ethiopian town of Dilla Alghe; it has been cultivated in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Jamaica by Gonzalo Hernandez. Growing this plant can be challenging as the tree is susceptible to disease. However, the outcome makes all the extra work worth it.
This fully-washed Jamaica Blue Mountain® Dilla Alghe coffee has distinct floral and honey notes, citric undertones, and delicate but bright acidity. Medium to full body, with a syrupy mouthfeel and a long, rich finish.
This Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is certified by the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authorities (JACRA) as 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. Roasted in small batches for maximum freshness, this bag contains whole beans, medium roasted. Usually best consumed with a French Press, Percolator, and Pour Over.
